The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner provides advanced healthcare services to high-risk newborns and infants requiring intensive medical attention due to various health conditions. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, ordering and interpreting tests, developing evidence-based care plans, prescribing treatments, and documenting services accurately.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in nursing or higher, appropriate nurse practitioner certification, and current Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure. Successful completion of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program and Board-Certification as an NNP-BC are mandatory requirements for this role.
Master’s degree in nursing or higher with appropriate nurse practitioner certification for patient care in the area of clinical specialization. Current Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure. Successful completion of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program. Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in Level III/IV NICU Delivery room resuscitation and stabilization experience
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
