Key duties involve handling pet restraint, triaging incoming patients, collecting and analyzing lab samples, and providing nursing care for hospitalized cases. This role also requires assisting with surgery, managing anesthesia, and effectively communicating treatment plans to clients.
Candidates should be self-starters with a willingness to learn and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, preferably possessing a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant. Essential qualities include being compassionate, calm, a team player, and a strong communicator, with the physical ability to withstand unpleasant conditions and properly restrain animals.
