The technologist executes appropriate patient care by assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures in the Cath Lab. This role also involves supporting team members before, during, and following procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED and be eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification. Required certifications include BCLS within 90 days and ACLS within 12 months, along with passing specific EKG competency tests.

Education: High School diploma/GED required. License, certification and/or registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists eligibility. BCLS certification required within 90 days of employment. ACLS certification is required within 12 months of employment. EKG Competency Testing is required within the first 90 days of employment and annually: (Part 1) Visual identification of 6 Lethal Cardiac Rhythms, passing with a score of 100%; (Part 2) Basic EKG Rhythms written examination, passing with a score of 85% or higher.
