ER Regional Float Team RN PRN Mid-Shift Weekly Hours: Mid-Shift Status: PRN Job Summary: A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (infancy to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care. He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Baptist Health emergency departments. Individuals hired as a Staff RN with at least 10 years of Staff RN experience who don’t hold a BSN will be required to either (a) obtain a BSN by enrolling in a program within one year of hire and completing within 5 years of employment or (b) obtain a specialty certification within one year of employment. Individuals hired as a Staff RN with less than 10 years of Staff RN experience who don’t hold a BSN will be required to obtain a BSN by enrolling in a program within one year of hire and completing within 5 years of employment.
