The Registered Nurse implements the nursing process for assigned patients, coordinating direct and indirect care within the scope of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Principal duties include assessing clinical status, developing and implementing a plan of care, evaluating effectiveness, and communicating patient care information.
Candidates must possess an active Kentucky RN License, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Certification, along with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and a BSN, with specific grandfathering and alternative requirements noted for existing staff without a BSN. TNCC certification is preferred.

He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Baptist Health emergency departments.
