The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning, evaluating, and treating patients within inpatient and outpatient clinical settings according to their physical therapy needs. This includes participating in established programs, patient education, and establishing comprehensive discharge plans.
A Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required, though a Doctorate is preferred; 1 year of experience in a Physical Therapy setting is required. Candidates must possess a Basic Life Support certification and a Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License, with temporary licenses accepted under supervision.
The Physical Therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients related to their physical therapy needs within a clinical (inpatient and outpatient) setting. Participates in established physical therapy programs including patient care and education. Evaluates and treats patients and establishes and/or implements comprehensive discharge plans. Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
Temporary license will be accepted. Individuals with temporary license are required to work under a Supervising Therapist.
