The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for delivering inpatient care services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which includes the evaluation and management of neonatal patients and performing necessary procedures. This role requires setting standards for the quality of care through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members.
Candidates must meet specific educational and certification requirements based on whether they are a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant (PA), including board certification or relevant NICU experience. All candidates require BLS, NRP certification within 30 days of hire, and ECMO competence within one year.
