RNs in the AICU provide care for a variety of critical adult patients, including medical, antepartum, postpartum, GYN Oncology, GYN, and ENT cases, handling situations like hemorrhage, critical OB, CRRT, and ventilator management. They are also responsible for all Rapid Responses and Code Blue situations for the adult patient population at the Women/Children campus.
Candidates must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure, and while experience is preferred, new graduates are accepted. Required certifications include BLS before orientation conclusion and ACLS within one year of hire.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.
