The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive Cardiology services within the hospital, managing patient care aspects like fluid balance, nutrition, pain management, and anticoagulation under physician supervision. Responsibilities also include assisting with clinical event management, transfers, and collaborating on discharge planning and patient education.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and a Massachusetts Nursing License, along with required DEA registrations for prescribing. Three to five years of cardiovascular service-line experience is preferred, and the role requires maintaining specific continuing medical education and re-certification statuses.
