The Advanced Practitioner is responsible for providing comprehensive medical services, including patient evaluation, developing diagnoses, ordering diagnostic tests, and performing necessary in-office procedures in collaboration with physicians. This role also involves counseling patients regarding health problems, treatment rationales, and implementing therapeutic or preventative measures.
Candidates must be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and capable of performing detailed patient evaluations across all age groups, including physical exams and specialized procedures like pelvic exams and drawing blood. Collaboration with physicians is required for all activities performed under granted privileges.
