The Clinical Nurse provides professional nursing care through assessment, documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. They coordinate care delivery and education through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
An Associate Degree in Nursing is required, and for ADN prepared nurses hired after February 24, 2017, a BSN degree must be completed by the fifth anniversary of employment. A Licensed Registered Nurse certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification are also required.
Clinical Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Pediatrics Days - Part Time, Nights - Full Time, Nights - Part Time Bell Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest: The Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care. Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. Pediatric nurses are dedicated to providing a high level of care and comfort to their patients. They care for infants, children and adolescents of all ages who have a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The Pediatric Unit features a play room and a special family room that offers a private place for families to eat, watch TV, shower and have visitors. Our child life specialist shares toys, books, movies, and video and board games to help children feel more at home. A music therapist is also involved in the multidisciplinary care of patients. An education specialist teaches children who have longer hospital stays. The unit has extra security, although parents have 24-hour access and are encouraged to spend the night.
