The Medical Assistant will primarily assist physicians with patient care management, executing both administrative and clinical procedures under direct supervision. Essential duties include performing aseptic procedures, taking vital signs, administering basic first aid, and potentially operating radiologic equipment.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants or as a Registered Medical Assistant is preferred. Candidates should possess current basic life support certification and fluency in English, with experience in Radiology and micro needling being preferred.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician. This practitioner will assist with patient care management, execute administrative and clinical procedures. Additionally, this practitioner may assist performing x-rays and may assist with the radiology needs of the clinic. Competence in the field also requires that a medical assistant adhere to ethical and legal standards of professional practice, recognize and respond to emergencies, and demonstrate professional characteristics.
