The surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients needing orthopedic surgical care, focusing on trauma and acute conditions, while performing procedures like fracture fixation and joint replacement. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care, including preoperative/postoperative management and participation in rounds.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, holding a valid medical license for the state of practice. Fellowship or experience in trauma or inpatient orthopedic care is preferred, alongside strong surgical skills and excellent teamwork abilities.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Valid medical license to practice in [State]. Fellowship or experience in trauma or inpatient orthopedic care preferred. Strong surgical skills and the ability to manage complex orthopedic cases. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to providing patient-centered care in an acute care setting. Working Conditions: Hospital-based, inpatient surgical practice. May require on-call and weekend coverage. Fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
