Provide skilled occupational therapy to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed therapist, implementing individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and document progress accurately.
Requires current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Experience in home health is preferred, along with strong communication and independent work skills.
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas. Experience in home health care or a similar setting is preferred. Strong understanding of the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and their families. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home health environment. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
