The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive, continuous medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and coordinating care across the healthcare continuum. This includes delivering patient-centered, evidence-based services.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and have completed an accredited Family Medicine residency program. Board-eligibility or certification in Family Medicine is required, along with the ability to obtain unrestricted Texas medical licensure and DEA registration.

Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Deliver preventive care including health maintenance, screenings, and immunizations Perform office-based procedures consistent with training and privileges Manage chronic disease conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular disease Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, wellness, and treatment plans Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement, population health, and patient safety initiatives Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, and clinical staff as applicable Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure DEA registration or eligibility Skills and Competencies Broad clinical knowledge across the lifespan Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities Ability to manage multiple conditions in a primary care setting Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care Work Environment Outpatient clinic with possible inpatient, obstetric, or urgent care responsibilities depending on practice scope Call coverage as determined by practice or service needs Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout clinic and hospital environments Manual dexterity for examinations and office-based procedures Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessment Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
