The Onsite Medical Assistant is primarily responsible for administering occupational testing, including breath alcohol and respirator fit tests, at various business locations. This role also involves collecting specimens for drug screens, performing blood draws, and handling necessary administrative paperwork.
Candidates must possess a Certified Phlebotomy certification and a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting. Applicants must be able to work outside normal business hours, including late nights and weekends, and must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Education: Certified Phlebotomy Required and a high school diploma or its equivalent Experience: Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting. Must be able to work outside of normal business hours of 8am to 4pm including hours between 10:00pm and 8:00am. Must be US Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US. Must possess the ability to multi-task. Must possess basic computer skills. EMR experience a plus. Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Must be able to obtain access to military bases. Have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. Possess high ethical standards carrying out responsibilities with integrity, honesty and loyalty. Must be a critical thinker and problem solver. Excellent time management skills. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation. Position requires standing, walking and sitting at a desk for periods of time.
