The Hospice Nurse is responsible for overseeing the quality and expert care of assigned hospice patients, which includes performing patient assessments for comfort and symptom relief. Key duties involve establishing individualized plans of care, obtaining physician orders for symptom management, and efficiently arranging home visit schedules.
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of nursing experience and hold a current New Jersey RN license, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) being preferred. The ability to speak a second language is considered a plus for this role.
