The individual is responsible for collecting blood specimens, performing laboratory office duties such as patient registration and data entry, and processing specimens for testing or shipment. They may also perform limited Point of Care tests and potentially act as a driver in some facilities.
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with previous phlebotomy experience and/or training. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are necessary, and background in a medical laboratory or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
MT/MLT/Laboratory Scientist: 40 Hours Per Week (PM)
Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (Midnights)
Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)
Laboratory Assistant: 20 Hours Per Week (AM)
Phlebotomist: 36 Hours Per Week (AM)
