The Dental Assistant will be responsible for creating a supportive environment, assisting dentists chairside during procedures, taking digital x-rays, and preparing/sterilizing treatment rooms. Duties also include maintaining equipment, tracking supplies, documenting services digitally, and educating patients on oral hygiene.
Candidates must possess at least one year of dental assisting experience and current CPR certification; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include a certificate from a CODA-accredited program and current NY DA license or relevant certifications like DANB CDA.
