The Pedodontist will provide direct dental services to patients while ensuring strict adherence to DPH, OSHA, and Dental Association regulations. Responsibilities also include general dentistry duties and supervising dental assistants and hygienists.
Candidates must possess post-graduate training in Pedodontics and a DDS or DMD from an accredited school, along with required Massachusetts licensure, DEA, and CPR certification. A minimum of three years of professional experience and public health experience are preferred.
Individual departments will develop competencies which will be communicated and maintained through CHC’s performance evaluation system.
Functional responsibly of chair-side Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant.
The environment is a normal office environment of a busy Community Health Center. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to saliva and blood-borne pathogens. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of radiation.
