The Clinical Laboratory Scientist II supports the development and implementation of new diagnostic assays while working independently under director guidance. This role involves performing assay and equipment validation, authoring standard operating procedures, and developing training and competency documents to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
A Bachelor's degree in Biological Science is required, along with a minimum of one year of Clinical Laboratory experience, though two to five years is preferred. Candidates must possess a California Clinical Lab Scientist license and demonstrate exceptional communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
