The Registered Nurse Preop/PACU provides continuous, quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy through ongoing evaluation of the patient's condition. This role involves comprehensive patient care before surgery and while emerging from anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and discharge preparation.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN School of Nursing with an active California RN license, holding current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS if required). Preferred qualifications include two years of experience in PACU or Critical Care, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

The Registered Nurse Preop/PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients before surgery, and patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Monday-Friday work schedule!

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $40.00 to $46.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience.
