The pharmacist will provide care to adult and pediatric patients within the Medical Center emergency department, working closely with the multidisciplinary team during medical emergencies. They will also support Pediatrics/NICU and handle some operational/distributive pharmacy services.
Candidates must possess a PharmD or a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and must have an Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire. Preferred qualifications include acute care hospital pharmacy experience (1 year or equivalent) and completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
What you will be doing: Provide care to adult and pediatric patients in the Medical Center emergency department. Work closely with the multidisciplinary ED team to provide direct patient care, including responding to medical emergencies. Have a secondary clinical practice area of Pediatrics/NICU and provide some support with operational/distributive pharmacy services. Serve as preceptors for pharmacy residents and student pharmacists. Work 10-hour shifts (weekdays and every third weekend), primarily evenings. Experience you will need: PharmD Pharmacy or bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience.
