The Staff Nurse implements the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies of the Nursing Division under the Nurse Manager's direction. This role involves providing direct patient care and functioning as a charge nurse as expected for the assigned shift.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing and hold a current RN license recognized by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing. Essential requirements include knowledge of current nursing trends, effective communication skills, and maintaining current AHA BLS certification.
