The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will deliver competent medical care under physician supervision, handling tasks such as referrals, consults, daily rounds, notes, procedures, and prescribing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role also involves functioning as an educator for students from healthcare education programs.
Candidates must possess a valid license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, along with required DEA certification and Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire. A Bachelor's degree for PAs or a Bachelor's/Master's degree for NPs is required, with one year of clinical experience as a PA or NP preferred.
