The main function involves performing all technical aspects of mammography procedures, including screening, diagnostic imaging, and breast biopsy. The technologist must also maintain all quality assurance and quality control policies in adherence to MQSA regulations.
Candidates must possess an Associate of Science degree from an accredited Radiology institution and hold ARRT certification with (R) and (M) credentials, along with current CPR certification. A minimum of two years of general Radiology experience plus one year of specific mammography experience is required.
Performs all technical aspects of mammography procedures including screening, diagnostic and breast biopsy; maintains QA/QC policies and procedures within MQSA regulations.
A.S. degree from accredited Radiology institution; ARRT; (R), (M); CPR required.
Minimum of 2 years Radiology experience plus one year mammography experience required. Digital and 3D Mammography experience preferred.
