The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient needs related to speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, and then developing and implementing treatment plans to improve patient well-being. This includes performing interventions, tracking progress, and instructing patients, families, and caregivers on necessary therapeutic participation.
Candidates must be licensed in Speech Therapy in their state of residence and possess a current driver's license with access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation. Preferred qualifications include current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days, and availability to work a weekend rotation.
