The Registered Nurse Circulator is responsible for providing nursing care and service during surgery cases, which includes positioning the patient and prepping the patient for the procedure. The role also involves circulating the case while ensuring high-quality, service-oriented care in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing and hold an active RN license in the state, along with required certifications like BLS, ACLS, or PALS. A minimum of one year of experience working as a Circulator and the ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment are mandatory qualifications.
