The Physician is responsible for assessing and treating patients’ physical health, which includes conducting exams and coordinating outside referrals. This role also involves oversight of clinical care provided by ARNPs, documentation, and performing minor procedures.
Candidates must possess a Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited university, along with two years of post-residency clinical experience. A license in the state of employment, current DEA certification, and board certification or eligibility in internal or family medicine are also required.
