The technologist performs imaging procedures according to radiology standards to aid in diagnosis or treatment and is responsible for developing and implementing procedure plans utilizing established hospital protocols. They must also maintain equipment and work areas safely and participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Radiologic principles, utilize appropriate techniques for optimal procedures, and complete all required documentation. Minimum experience required is 6 months in the specialty area, and candidates must possess ARRT(R) registration or be a new graduate obtaining it within 60 days, along with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
