The technician is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and recording cardiac rhythms and interpreting baseline rhythm patterns. They also provide clinical and clerical support to registered nurses and the nursing unit.
Candidates should preferably have EKG or STNA certifications and experience in acute or long-term care. BLS certification is required within six months of hire, and passing an EKG test is mandatory for employment.
Education: EKG Preferred STNA Preferred
Preference for recent experience in acute care or long-term care facility Computer proficiency with the ability to access and input data into multiple programs preferred
