This role involves performing CT exams in hospital and outpatient settings, requiring independent judgment, patient preparation, contrast media administration, and intravenous catheter insertion. The technologist will also serve as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns.
Candidates must have completed a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or an ARRT-approved equivalent and be registered with the ARRT, holding current BLS certification. Advanced ARRT CT certification is required within 15 months of hire.
Regions Hospital is seeking a per diem CT Technologist to work in both our hospital and outpatient clinic settings. This position performs CT exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for CT exams, administers contrast media, and starts intravenous catheters. The CT Tech also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns.
• One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
