The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This includes performing focused assessments, administering medications, accurately documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to implement the patient's plan of care.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or G.E.D. and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience as an LVN/LPN in an acute care setting. Required credentials include current state licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, and completion of Pedagogy IV Certification within 30 days of hire.
