The Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant provides healthcare to patients in both hospital and office settings, collaborating with physicians and managing patient care. Responsibilities include assessing health conditions, documenting findings, prescribing treatments, and educating patients and families.
Candidates must have a Master's Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies and 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS, along with a valid Georgia license, are also required.

Provides health care to patients in the hospital or office setting. Works in consultation, cooperation and coordination through a collaborative physician. Functions according to the established standards and practices of medicine for Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia (and Alabama)
Education and Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies Minimum of 1 to 3 years work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required Current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, (AANP) or the American Nursing Credentialing Center, (ANCC) OR current Georgia license for Georgia State Composite Board and current certification from the American Academy of Physician's Assistants Skills: Above average skills in clinical procedures are required. Understanding and ability to follow OSHA requirements and provide instruction to staff on safety hazards and precautions as necessary. Must understand general insurance protocols and applicable billing guidelines and regulations. Professional verbal and written communication skills are required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, team: members and the public. Ability for analytical and critical thinking and solid problem solving is essential.
Clinic and hospital rounding must be started in a timely and independent manner.
