The Data Entry/Intake Pharmacy Technician is responsible for creating patient profiles and processing orders promptly from electronic prescription and fax queues, while also managing incoming documents from the fax server. This role also involves requesting refill prescriptions as appropriate.
Candidates must be a licensed/registered pharmacy technician, possess at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, and have knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals. Essential qualifications include good organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
