The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients receiving inpatient and outpatient care and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for various diagnoses. Responsibilities also include improving patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function, alongside educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and current Colorado PT licensure (DORA). A minimum of one year of PT experience is required, with 3-5 years preferred, along with current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Western Colorado’s premier healthcare facility, Valley View Hospital has an opportunity for a PRN Physical Therapist to provide inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy care. In this position, you will evaluate patients and develop and implement an appropriate treatment plan for a variety of diagnoses. Your goal will be to improve patients’ strength, ROM, balance, safety and function. You’ll also educate patients and caregivers on appropriate home exercise programs.
