The role involves providing direct nursing services, mental health assessments, and treatment to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, including obtaining and communicating essential clinical information within a multidisciplinary team setting. Key duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, drawing blood for labs, and assisting consumers with rehabilitation and coordination of external resources.
LPNs need graduation from an accredited school and a Colorado license, with 1-3 years of experience preferred for severe mental illness patients. RNs require a minimum of two years of nursing experience and a Colorado license, with behavioral health experience preferred.

You will obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications. Job Duties & Functions: Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned patients. Provide limited case management services to people we serve as needed. Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation. Coordinate consumer’s use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources. Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s). Draw blood for lab work for patients. Monitor consumer’s vital signs. Periodically provide community injections Administer medications including intramuscular medications. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards. Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required. Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications: Psychiatric Nurse I: Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
