• Overview Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Daytime Admissions Role Location: Central Maine Medical Center – Lewiston Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Daytime (No Nights) Position Overview Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient team in a daytime admissions-focused role.
• The APP will focus on new patient admissions, ensuring timely, high-quality evaluations and seamless coordination of care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive history and physicals for new admissions Perform detailed clinical assessments and develop care plans Collaborate closely with attending physicians and hospitalists Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests Document all encounters accurately in the EMR Coordinate care with nursing, case management, and ancillary services Assist with care transitions and discharge planning as appropriate

Qualifications
