The Compliance Specialist is responsible for performing office management and administrative tasks to support the compliance department. This includes reviewing billing submissions, collaborating with program administrators, and maintaining compliance documentation.
Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field is preferred, along with previous administrative assistant experience.
Description ADAPT Community Network's Compliance Team is currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to help support our programs for adults with developmental disabilities. This is a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, in-person opportunity in Lower Manhattan.

Bachelor's degree in human services, or related field preferred, but not required. Previous Administrative Assistant experience preferred but not required. Proficient in spreadsheet applications. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Good interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with employees, co-workers, the people we support, and their families. Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively; and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures. Willingness to travel to all programs. Must be available Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM, in-person.
