Performs non-discretionary tasks related to furnishing drugs and filling unit dose cassettes under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining floor stock, preparing IV medications, and processing wholesaler orders.
Requires a State Pharmacy Technician license, with a high school diploma and board certification preferred. Candidates must comply with required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, while assisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the patients profile to nursing units. This position is represented by SEIU.
