The primary duty involves conducting basic research in a non-clinical laboratory focused on delineating the signaling pathway from gestational hormones to pancreatic beta-cell mass and function in rodent models of gestational diabetes. The candidate will also be required to participate in weekly lab meetings and attend scientific seminars.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. and are encouraged to apply if they have experience in beta-cell biology, as the research focuses on uncovering molecular targets for gestational diabetes intervention. Three references are preferred for the successful applicant.
