The Physical Therapist plans and conducts treatment programs aimed at restoring and improving patients' physical, social, and mental functions while meeting departmental objectives. Essential functions include completing patient evaluations, providing therapy interventions, establishing individualized care and discharge plans, and completing accurate clinical documentation.
Required qualifications include obtaining Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice and current CPR or BLS certification. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required only if the license was obtained on or after January 2016, and two years of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.
Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.
