The certified anesthesia assistant provides comprehensive anesthesia care as delegated by a licensed anesthesiologist. This role promotes optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical practice.
Candidates must have a Master's Degree from an accredited anesthesiologist assistant program and be licensed as a Certified Anesthesiology Assistant in Missouri upon hire. Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants is also required.
• Clinical practice: expertly provides anesthesia services as delegated by the supervisory agreement for the patient/family which promotes optimal patient outcomes.
