A Physical Therapist carries out individualized programs for patients with acute and chronic health conditions to maximize their quality of life and achieve functional goals, performing evaluations, determining diagnoses, and developing plans of care. Responsibilities include performing physical therapy procedures to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability, while recording progress and educating patients and families.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and must obtain a Virginia Physical Therapy License and CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days of hire. One year of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.
