$75 - $150 / HOUR
The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical care, manage terminal illness, and perform history and physical examinations for patients under physician supervision. Responsibilities also include developing individualized plans of care, prescribing treatments, coordinating hospice services, and ensuring patients receive appropriate symptom control measures.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Program, hold current state nursing licensure, and possess a master's degree with a minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience plus one year of hospice or palliative care experience. Certification from an approved body is required, and specialist certification is preferred.
