The LPN provides direct patient care, performs clinical tasks like phlebotomy and EKGs, and assists providers in developing care plans. They are also responsible for maintaining exam room readiness, managing supplies, and ensuring patient safety through protocol adherence.
Candidates must have completed a Licensed Practical Nurse training program and hold a valid state LPN license. Additionally, BLS/AED certification and at least 6 months of clinical experience in a healthcare facility are required.
