Day/Night Rotation: 6a-630p, 6p-630a

Job Summary

• Assists in the safe care of the patient as directed.
• Assists in maintaining safe and efficient unit operations.
• Utilizes excellent customerservice skills.
• Permitted to change patients from portable O2 to wall O2.
• Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Current enrollment or completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program.
• Registration/Certification/Licensure : Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 clearances Experience Minimum: None.

Preferred

• Previous experience working as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility.

• Requirements : Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Completion of EKG training within 6 months of hire/transfer. Responsible to safely access,transport, and handle single dose medications to include prescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access,transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
