The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This includes performing focused assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement the patient's plan of care.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program, along with two years of relevant experience in an acute care setting. Required certifications include current state licensure, BLS, and ACLS from the American Heart Association, with Pedagogy IV Certification due within 30 days of hire.
