The Substance Abuse Counselor will provide individual counseling to complex patients, conduct clinical assessments, and design or update patient treatment plans including coordination and discharge planning. This role also involves managing an assigned caseload, collaborating with nurses and providers, and facilitating urine drug screenings.
Qualified candidates must hold one or more required licenses or certifications in South Carolina and possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must be willing to work early morning hours, have a valid driver's license, and have no legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program.
