The Behavioral Health Therapist assists in developing and implementing a high-quality behavioral health treatment program under the direction of the Program and Clinical Directors. This includes maintaining a direct service caseload and providing high-quality patient care through advanced skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and various forms of therapy.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Behavioral Health and hold the appropriate licensure in Arkansas, with independent licensure being preferred. A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-master's degree is preferred, and EMDR training is also a preferred qualification.
Maintains direct service caseload Responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying advanced skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment and family treatment. Responsible to function as a member of the interdisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program. Capable of working under pressure, organizing and prioritizing work effectively in order to meet necessary deadlines in a fast paced environment. Works closely with Program Director for optimal patient outcomes. Serves all age groups Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation/Qualifications: Must possess Masters Behavioral Health Licensure in Arkansas Independent preferred as one of the following: Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Psychological Examiner Independent (LPE-I), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Minimum of two years clinical experience post master’s degree preferred, but not required. Preferred EMDR training
