The anesthetist responds to the anesthetic needs of patients and coordinates their care during all phases of surgery. They administer anesthesia services and manage emergent airway situations as needed.
A Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia is required, with no previous experience necessary. Certification as a CRNA and a South Carolina RN license are also required.
